GET Power Club Newsletter August 07

Hello GET Power Club Members !

I thought it was time for another Update.

The Electricity Project is still on track for July of 2008 but for the present the UCSA main focus is on the Engine Kit technologies. We are counting on sales of the HAFC and PICC kits to fund the Stadium Events and the building of the initial 100 Hum/Sun Generators.

If you have not recently been to the Club web site, please check in and read up on what has been happening with the Engine Kits. I have just posted the latest developments at this link, www.getpowerclub.com/engmod.htm but here’s the latest update:
8/15/07 Update- 3x O2ptimizers are trickling out. They are being assigned to the newly trained Master Mechanic graduates of the HAFC Certification classes in NJ. This is because we have got to give priority to building an infrastructure (having local HAFC Installer Classes) for installing the kits because they require tuning by someone with special equipment and understanding in order to get the MPG improvements we are all desiring. The on-board computers were just a huge complicated problem. Those 350 kits that have already been delivered to customers are next in line for the 3x's as they arrive in NJ. I will ship them to my GET Power Club customers as soon as I get them. Please ship the 1x that came with your kits back to me. We believe that that right-out-of-the box, the 3x will give the 50% improved MPG but that tuning by a trained installer could boost that installation to 100%. 3x will cover about 70% of cars, 4x will hit another 25% and the 5x will pick up the remainder. By the time the 5x is produced, the module will also contain full remote programming capability. The "Ammo Box" is the companion programmer that only certified HAFC Installers will be sold. Any owner of a HAFC all over the country will be able to have their kit tuned for optimum performance by visiting any of these guys. ... This simple kit turned out to be a much bigger challenge than we anticipated. Club Member Special Pricing ($800 all inclusive) is still available.

The last update on the PICC technology is : 6/20/07 Update- Dennis related today that a new engine that was purchased for the test stand at the dynamometer facility near Detroit has been installed. The team is setting the Chrysler 318 ci V8 to be tested in an SUV type application. They also took the old engine off the stand and rebuilt the transmission and then installed it (with the PICC kit) in a company owned Dodge conversion van. We wanted to test the PICC kit on the road in typical driving conditions. Unfortunately, while driving the van back to our lab in Newfoundland NJ, our mechanic was rear ended by a teenage drunk driver who hit the van going >100 mph ! Our mechanic was unhurt, praise the LORD, but we think that the van will have to be totaled out. He was able to limp the van into the lab but it is now undriveable. I’m not sure whether the prototype PICC can even be salvaged.

So folks, progress is being made, it’s just painfully slow. I’m going to be out of touch until 9/10/07. My wife and I are on vacation and we are taking our grand-son back to his home in Roanoke VA. I expect the 3x O2ptimizer issues to be resolved by then and intend to get busy with sales, training installers and the TV ad campaign.

GOD Bless you all !

Roger Hemphill
