The silver coat acts as a radiant barrier, moisture barrier and as primer for the white. We highly recommend that they be used together for best results. The white may be tinted to any desired color with standard tint pigments. Therma Guard can be used as interior or exterior paint. It has the wear equivalency of 20 years for exterior use. It provides the R-factor equivalency of aprox. 3 to 4 inches of batted fiber-glass insulation.
